The right restaurant for tonight
Table Finder
Choose the city, the occasion, your budget and a kind of cuisine. The Table Finder matches you with three restaurants from the guide and tells you why.
A date, a business dinner, a birthday with eight people, a solo counter seat: every occasion has its restaurant. The Table Finder scores all our addresses in the chosen city against your evening and returns the three best fits with a match percentage, a reason and a link. Share the result or send it to whoever is booking.
The matching weighs five things: the city, the kind of cuisine you chose, your budget against the restaurant’s price level, the occasion against the character of the room and, if you asked for it, a view or a terrace. It runs entirely in your browser and remembers your last search on this device.
Frequently asked questions
How is the match percentage calculated?
Each restaurant starts at 100 and loses points for every mismatch: a different cuisine, a price level above or below your budget, a room that does not suit the occasion. Three restaurants with the highest scores are shown.
Can I search all cities at once?
Yes. Choose “Any city” and the finder looks across all 19 destinations; the results then show the city with each restaurant.
Does gourmaris take reservations?
No. We link to the restaurant page in the guide, where you find the website or the booking details.
