Balthazar
The SoHo brasserie that never dated
Keith McNally’s Balthazar on Spring Street has been the perfect Parisian brasserie in New York since 1997: red banquettes, mirrors, a seafood tower on ice, steak frites, onion soup and a breakfast crowd of editors and models. It is loud, generous and open from morning to late, and the bread from its bakery is a city institution.
