Holger Bodendorf cooks in the Landhaus Stricker in Tinnum, a thatched farmhouse hotel where his starred menu combines North Sea products with French and Asian techniques. The dining room is warm and low-ceilinged, the wine list favours Germany and the atmosphere is the island at its most relaxed and refined. The bistro Siebzehn84 next door is the casual alternative.
