Tantris
The temple, reopened
Since 1971 Tantris has been Germany’s most famous restaurant: an orange-and-black listed building in Schwabing where Eckart Witzigmann and Hans Haas cooked for generations of Munich. After a full renovation in 2021, Benjamin Chmura cooks a classic French tasting menu in the main room while Tantris DNA serves à la carte next door. The wine cellar is legendary.
